His Grace Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Joseph Marino blessed the new chapel Gereja St. Mary, Sungei Sebubu on Sunday 2nd October 2016. The Chapel was built next to Rumah Banyah, a 48 doors Iban longhouse, Kampung Sungei Sebubu. It is 152km from Miri, 42km distance from Lapok Parish. After the blessing and opening ceremony, His Grace Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Joseph Marino, Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng, three priests from Lapok Parish, Fr. Andy Lee, Fr. John Mcaulay and Fr. Christo celebrated the first mass in Gereja St. Mary.
