"Whoever feeds  on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him" John 6:56
For this reason a broadcasted Mass is never a subsitute to attend Mass  and receive Holy Communion
- ArchBishop William Goh

Although a broadcasted Mass is never a substitute for the obligation to assist/ attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, Catholic Faithful have been dispensed from this obligation by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei. With the suspension of public Masses on Sundays and weekdays, watching a televised Masses could serve as a form of spiritual “devotion.”

A Plenary Indulgence is granted to the faithful suffering from Coronavirus, who are subject to quarantine by order of the health authority in hospitals or in their own homes if, with a spirit detached from any sin, they unite spiritually through the media to the celebration of Holy Mass the recitation of the Holy Rosary, to the pious practice of the Way of the Cross or other forms of devotion …
