Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng and Fr. Basil Entili celebrated sunset Mass in Iban at Rumah Tabor Anak Lasah, Sungei Sera, Ulu Sebauh with some 190 parishioners on 7th March 2020. Rumah Tabor a 70-door Iban longhouse majority catholics is located 15 km away from Gereja St George, Sebauh. It took 15 minutes to drive to the longhouse crossing Sebauh River by ferry. The community welcomed Bishop and Fr. Basil upon arrival at RH Tabor with a grand traditional Iban musical performance and dance.
On 8th March 2020, His Lordship Bishop Richard Ng and the Rector Fr. Basil Entili celebrated 8 am Mass in Iban 2nd Sunday of Lent, Year A at Gereja St George, Sebauh. The church designed for 600 pax 8capacity is fully air-conditioned.
The journey by road Miri to St George Parish, Sebauh recorded 187 km one way.
