Pastoral Visit to St George Parish, Sebauh and Rumah William Ak Munat, Sungei Senggam, Sebauh 31st August - 1st September 2019

The road trip Miri to Rumah William Ak Munat, Sungei Senggam, Sebauh registered 204 km one way crossing Kemena river by ferry to reach the 20-door Iban longhouse majority Catholics where Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng and Reverend Fr. Basil Entili celebrated sunset Mass in Iban with some 150 parishioners on Malaysia Day 31st August 2019.     The community invited Bishop to sign the plaque to commemorate his first visit to the Iban longhouse Rumah William Ak Munat.

Next morning 1st September 2019, Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng administered Sacrament of Confirmation to 99 candidates at Gereja St George, Sebauh where Bishop and Fr. Basil Entili celebrated 8am Mass in Iban 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time with some 600 parishioners.  The church was fully packed seated inside during the Mass.
