Tatau is about 245km by road south of Miri along the Miri Bintulu Road.
Our first stop was at Rumah Charlie Anak Ujang, Sungei Sap,
This is the first pastoral visit to the longhouse by Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng accompanied by Fr. Peter Mering both celebrated sunset Mass on Saturday 30th June 2018 at 21 doors Iban longhouse built in1979 where 50% are Catholics.
Next morning 1st July 2018 Right Reverend Bishop Richard Ng and Fr. Peter Mering celebrated Sunday morning Mass at St Peter Church, Tatau with some 500 parishioners. The church was renovated last year 2017 to double the capacity.
