Easter message
Jesus is truly risen! Alleluia!
My dear sisters and brothers in the Lord, Jesus is truly risen! Alleluia!
We have journeyed with the Lord in the 40 days of Lent, with prayers and penance to die to our selfishness and sins. We have been imprisoned by the darkness and evil of sin.
The good news of Easter is Jesus is risen and has set us free.He has broken the chains that enslaved us.
We remain free because we belong to God, we are his daughters and sons, we do not belong to darkness.
So let us live in the light and put an end to the darkness of sin and selfishness. As sons and daughters of the Father, let us imitate our Lord in his unconditional love and mercy.
May we continue to make a positive difference in the lives of the poor, the last, the least and the marginalized.
