Spiritual mission to "Uma Pawa" on Saturday 19 sept 2015, a Kenyah 25 doors longhouse in Long Urun nearby Sungei Belaga. St Michael Chapel is next to the longhouse.
Bishop Richard Ng received a grand welcome upon arrival Uma Pawa by traditional dancers, singers, residents and catholics from Long Urun led by Tuah kampung Eric William. Among them were Fr.Sylvester Ding and Fr.Vincent Martin Sta from the parish Asap.
86 people mainly Penan received the sacrament of confirmation at Uma Pawa on Sunday 20Sep 2015.
The journey took 5 hours drive from Miri to Uma Pawa entering 1hr 15mins gravel sandy road.
