Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lord,
Our Holy Father Pope Francis has called for a Day of Prayer and Fasting on the First Friday of Lent (23rd February 2018), for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan.
I invite the clergy, religious and faithful of the Diocese to be united with the Holy Father in prayer and fasting on that day.
